Kingbean and Wayniac are putting on one last show to celebrate them being old.
The World is not yet ready to announce the last 2 bands, but you should be there for Religious Observance and G.B.S. Word on the street is that it’s Pete’s birthday and Sean’s birthday pretty recently so you should celebrate with them too!!
Much like the bands it’ll be true late 90s/early 2000s style with $10 entry on the door!!
Thanks to Nat Grant from Let Your Freak Flag Fly for asking me to contribute! Suss the release on bandcamp or donate at http://3cr.org.au if you’re able to.
On a personal note… it’s taken a really fckn long time and countless hours of self-teaching, experimenting and disappointing recording sessions going into the bin, but in the last couple of years I’m finally getting closer to making SPASMOSLOP recordings that line up with what I want the project to sound/feel like. More to come in the future! If anyone’s actually reading this and gives a shit – stay tuned.

*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_* This event takes place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people and we pay respects to elders past and present, as well as all First Nations people to who we owe immeasurable reparations for harm done through ongoing colonisation and genocide. The venue and artists will contribute part of the takings to pay the rent.
This venue has limitations to accessibility. There are small steps at the entrance and to the beer garden exit which leads to the toilets. Parking can be difficult due to it being a busy street but there are spaces to pull up for dropping off. The number 11 tram stops at the entrance to the venue at stop 17.
The venue has gender neutral bathrooms.
You can text the organiser on 0400804316 if you are feeling unsafe at this event, or if you would like someone to talk to or introduce you to people if you are coming on your own, and you will be treated with respect and discretion.
