Despondent ruminations on unhygienic neglection, inflicted onto a physical audio format you can fit in your pocket. Shitresist Records is proud (…?) to present the first analogue release from FESTERING GENITAL ORIFICE : ‘Balanoposthitic Fantasies’ – three tracks of rancid-pisshole-harsh-gore-noise on 2″ lathe cut record! Available at the show and limited to 30 copies.

Also launching on the day is the new album from SPASMOSLOP : ‘Birthed Into Spasmobliteration.’ Fans of hyperdimensional electro-oral noise engurglement and sloptronics rejoice! This has been a long time coming.

And, in an extremely rare public appearance, the first show in almost 8 years for FREEZING FOG . Aimless, joyless, mental-block-chord-organ noise wall.

ESP MAYHEM @ Last Chance 08/02/2025

Prepare yourself for total extreme aural obliteration at the hands of 4 of Melbourne’s finest heavy bands. The Last Chance is presently reinforcing the foundations and iron-cladding the dunnies in preparation for what is guaranteed to be a night of brutal intensity.
Tumour kick off the night with scorching death metal, that will peel your skin, shatter teeth and burn out eyes.
Second up is the frantic spasmodic cyborg-grind-epilepsy that is ESP Mayhem, continually blowing minds with their extreme synth-fused berserk shitfest.
Next up and pounding the Last Chance foundations to dust with their insanely heavy cacophony of hate, will be the crushing and bowel destroying onslaught of Religious Observance.
Finally, with an aural assault that will blast the ceiling off and pummel already bleeding eardrums to mush, will be the frenzied and relentless viscous thrash/grind attack of Pissbolt.

Updates – Jan 2025

It’s been a while…

SPASMOSLOP – been working on a new album on & off for over a year. In trying to cook up the sounds that are in my brain I of course made it stupidly over-complicated and incomprehensible but I’m trying to make it make sense. I record in a really basic way and mix everything in Audacity and have no fuggin idea what I’m doing so it takes forever. Currently remixing it for the 2000th time, then it’ll get mastered by someone who does know what they’re doing and should sound sick.

SPEW BALLOON – nearly finished our new 6-track EP. Studio recording with lots of mics & shit, but being mixed by Tolman so it sounds proper filthy & wild! Should hopefully be released in some form in time for Flippin The Bird or one of our other gigs in March. Then planning to record for a full-length album mid-year or so.

ESP MAYHEM – a few gigs coming up. Been jamming a lot ahead of recording for a full-length soooooon.

CLOGGED – possible resuscitation and new release 2025/2026… maybe…

G.B.S. – new recordings in the works for some kind of release

STRESSED OUT STRAIGHT GUY – despite not actually being very stressed out I’ll be doing vocals for this HEADLESS DEATH punk rock side project thing, unless I get replaced by an actual SOSG.
